I have just purchased a citreon c3 desire 1.4 and the key fob is broken, I can lock the drivers and passenger side no problem but how do I put the child locks on the back door manually I have tried ev. If I push the lock into lock position it holds but I can easily flick it back open. Doing the same on the other door it doesn't unlock unless I pull the handle. So my question is, is the lock itself the problem or the locking mechanism from the handle? The door won't lock with central locking button on the dash or the key. Thanks in advance
Chosen Solution. Had that happen to me once. Somehow the latch gets in the closed position with the door open and blocks closing. Here's what I did--with the door open make sure its unlocked and operate the door handle. Hold it open and using a screwdriver flip the door latch to the open position.
